about

My very first official comedy show in October of 2004. While I'd been performing for a long time already as a musician, this comedy thing was way new to me. Until this point I'd been performing these songs with my band and a few times solo in coffee shops.

Obviously this isn't my most polished performance. Even my diction made me cringe listening back to it. But it was a life changing performance that took my career in a direction I'd never thought of.

So listen to it with an historical perspective. Like a crappy song from the 1800's that was a big hit back in its day.

Oh, and while plenty long versions of "Brown Ring Around The Collar" and "Whale Blubber" are present here, there was more at the beginning of the show. And I have no idea where that is.
